This yoga and wildlife retreat is set in a beautiful and unique location that works in harmony with nature. In Kanha National Park you will experience six nights in a luxury, tented, jungle eco-camp and spa overlooking a water oasis amidst a verdant foliage of trees teeming with bird life. Maharaja inspired, spacious, luxurious, air-conditioned tents have been created with individual verandahs to while away the hours soaking in the sights and sounds of life around the water oasis. The tiger reserve harbours a mosaic of vegetation types including meadows and woodlands in the valleys, extensive grasslands on the plateaus, dense forests in the hilly tracts, and numerous perennial streams and ponds in the valley that supports swamp vegetation. The reserve is best known for conserving three endangered species, the tiger, hard ground barasingha, and wild dog and is also the habitat for many other mammals, hundreds of bird species and reptiles.

*Extend your adventure and travel by road to another wildlife location with me exploring Satpura Tiger Reserve from April 11th to 17th 2020. Our home for six additional nights will be an inspiring luxury, safari eco-lodge hidden in 44 acres of dense deciduous forest (ranked 2nd in the top 30 eco destinations in India in a survey by Conde Nast Traveller) offering an exceptional jungle experience for those who truly revel in wild places with an opportunity to explore the jungle on foot, by canoe, and jeep. Satpura hosts 48 species of mammals including the leopard and sloth bear, over 300 species of native and migrant birds and 31 species of reptiles.

**The retreat price does not include international or local flights. Budget £450-650 for international return flights to Mumbai/Delhi in Feb 2020, and £50-100 for domestic return flights from Raipur to Mumbai/Delhi – approx. 1.5 hr domestic flight. You will need a visa to enter India which is easy to apply for online. We can guide you further with flights and the visa.

Trained in India and the UK, I teach yoga and meditation on a one-to-one or group basis, and I run UK and international yoga and meditation retreats with a focus on relief from stress, anxiety, fatigue and back pain.
My motivation to teach comes from personal experience having observed major improvements in my physical and mental health through a regular yoga practice. Like many other people, yoga has changed my life and this has inspired me to share the practice with others.
I have completed specialised training in therapeutic techniques in Yoga for Anxiety, Meditation on the Natural Breath, Sound Energy Therapy & Vibroacoustic massage with Himalayan singing bowls, and Children and Teen Yoga. I’ve also completed Continued Professional Development workshops in Vinyasa Yoga, Pranayama and Yoga Physiology.
My approach is gentle and compassionate and I believe that yoga can benefit anyone regardless of age, flexibility, shape or mobility.
I am deeply grateful to all my teachers in India, and the UK, and those that selflessly preserved the sacred teachings of yoga over thousands of years so that we could benefit from the practice today.
