You will have the opportunity to travel to two incredible and diverse wildlife locations in Central India with Heena and Amanda. You can either join us for one or both of these adventures.

Inclusions - 12-night Kanha & Satpura yoga and wildlife experience

  • Includes all of above and transfer by road in air-conditioned private vehicle from Satpura to Kanha. This journey gives you the opportunity to traverse the national parks and forest areas and experience the diverse landscapes Central India has to offer.

**The retreat price does not include international or local flights. Budget £400-600 for international return flights to Mumbai/Delhi in Feb 2019, and £100 for domestic return flights from Raipur/Bhopal to Mumbai/Delhi - approx 1.5 hr domestic flight - current price as at 14th April 2019 is £50 return. You will need a visa to enter India which is easy to apply for online. We can guide you further with flights and the visa

About Heena

Trained in India and the UK, I teach yoga and meditation on a one-to-one or group basis, and I run UK and international yoga and meditation retreats with a focus on relief from stress, anxiety, fatigue and back pain. My motivation to teach comes from personal experience having observed major improvements in my physical and mental health through a regular yoga practice. Like many other people, yoga has changed my life and this has inspired me to share the practice with others.

I have completed specialised training in therapeutic techniques in Yoga for Anxiety, Meditation on the Natural Breath, Sound Energy Therapy & Vibroacoustic massage with Himalayan singing bowls, and Children and Teen Yoga.

My approach is gentle and compassionate and I believe that yoga can benefit anyone regardless of age, flexibility, shape or mobility.

I always look forward to yoga and meditation sessions with Heena. She creates a warm and inviting space and I always get the attention I need to get the most out of it. I have practiced yoga for years, but this is the most consistent I have been because I genuinely feel the benefits of my time with Heena. I really miss the class when I can’t make it.

About Amanda

The moment I entered my first yoga class eleven years ago as a mentally and physically exhausted mother of three young children, I knew that yoga would change my life!

I have been teaching Hatha Yoga and Meditation for the last 9 years in the UK, and I was trained by Saraswati, who was initiated by Swami Vishnu Devananda, Founder of the Sivananda Ashrams and Centres throughout the world. I have also trained in Sound Energy Therapy and Vibroacoustic massage with Himalayan singing bowls.

Three years ago, I started to experience the debilitating symptoms of Menieres Disease which is a disorder of the inner ear that causes episodes in vertigo. Yoga has not only helped me to manage the symptoms and deepen my own personal practice but it has also inspired me to share the immense benefits I’ve experienced with others.
